Work process and safety improvements to increase productivity by 5S and Quality Control Circuit (SDCA) : Khlong Ha Police Station, Finance

Abstract

The objective of this action research paper is to study the causes and propose ways to improve work processes and safety in order to increase productivity with 5S activities and quality control circuits (SDCA) of the financial department police officers.  Khlong Ha Police Station by studying and analyzing the working environment of the finance department staff with no observation and unstructured interviews.  Analysis by using 5S activities and SDCA with finance department staff Khlong Ha Police Station, amount 6 people The results of the research showed that; 1. The problems encountered are 1) the staff in the financial department's desk is in an orderly manner according to the 5S principles, so it can take time to find the desired item at an urgent time and may cause danger to and 2) have too urgent work causing sometimes to not work on time as needed And 2. Problem solving through training in which officers can work on their behalf the result of the problem solving can reduce the number of finding items in one room from 4 minutes to 1 minute, accounting for 75 percent. And training for the financial department officers of Khlong Ha Police Station can work everyone in the department from Everything 2 people increased to 5 people, representing 150 percent.
