Improvement of work processes and behavior for the safety of Garbage Collection Personnel: A Case Study of Lat Sawai Municipality

Abstract
The objective of this research paper is to study problem and find ways to prevent and fix working behaviors for efficient work to ensure the safety of the staff carrying waste by using the quality management cycle and the use of behavioral promotion programs using personal protective equipment. Can be applied in the work process of the municipality From the research team going to inspect the location By conducting a questionnaire on behavior and knowledge of work safety of 45 solid waste workers, studying secondary data of knowledge Work behavior And analysis of the chart showing cause and effect. The results showed that the problems are behavior lacking knowledge about the dangers of solid waste transportation, employees have careless behavior and lack of checking of working behavior by resolving the problem that occurred has made use of behavioral promotion programs using personal protective equipment to help solve problems that occur. The results of the study showed that the improvement of knowledge by using the program to promote the behavior of personal protective equipment using the program before improvement, the municipality encountered problems. The employees had very good knowledge of accident prevention, 15 people, after using the behavioral promotion program using personal protective equipment to help develop and promote knowledge about prevention to the staff Resulting in an increase of 8.33% of staff having better knowledge 53.33
