Evaluation of Control and Prevention of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) of Krok Phra District Public Health Office, Nakhon Sawan Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were 1) to evaluate the results of control and prevention of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19); 2) to study the relationship of Iddhipada and control and prevention of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19); and 3) to propose guidelines for controlling and preventing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) of Krok Phra District Public Health Office, Nakhon Sawan Province according to Iddhipada. It was a mixed methods research. For quantitative research, questionnaire was distributed with a confidence value of 0. 966 to a sample group of people aged 18 years and over who lived in Krok Phra District, Nakhon Sawan Province, 395 people. In terms of qualitative research, in-depth interviews were conducted with 18key informants using content analysis. Statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson correlation coefficient. The results of the research found that 1) the overall evaluation of the control and prevention of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was at a high level; 2) Iddhipada was positively related to control and prevention of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) of Krok Phra District Public Health Office, Nakhon Sawan Province at a high level with statistical significance at the 0.01 level; and 3) guidelines for controlling and  preventing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) included 3.1) people should be warned to avoid going to risky areas and should be encouraged to intend to wear protective cloth masks, 3.2) People should be informed to intend not to share thingsand should be encouraged to regularly assess the risk of infection, 3.3) local agencies should be assigned to determine routes in and out of the area, and should be notified to keep distance between people, and 3.4) they should always emphasize measures to follow up on information on places where people gathered places where people gathered should be encouraged to provide proper ventilation.
