Development of Learning Package in the Form of a Learning Center on the Topic of Word Formation in Thai language of Mathayom Suksa 3 Students by Using STAD Technique of Kusuman Witthayakhom School, Kusuman District, Sakon Nakhon Province under Sakon Nakhon Secondary Educational Service Area Office

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were 1) to create and find out the effectiveness of learning package in the form of a learning center on the topic of word formation in Thai language of Mathayom Suksa 3 students by using STAD Technique; 2) to compare achievement before and after learning; 3) to study the effectiveness index of learning management; and 4) to study student satisfaction of Mathayom Suksa 3 students. This research was the research and development that aimed to study and innovate systematically. The goal was to develop innovation. After that put it to trial until the results were satisfactory. Then it will be published to develop being efficiency. The sample group included 90 Mathayom Suksa 3 students, semester 1, academic year 2022, Kusuman Witthayakhom School, Kusuman District, Sakon Nakhon Province, using purposive samplings. Tools used were: 1) 5 learning packages in the form of a learning center on the topic of word formation in Thai language; 2) achievement test with 4 multiple choice options, 30 questions, found a difficulty value (p) between .43-70 and a discriminatory power value (r) from .20-.80 with a reliability value of .81; 3) student satisfaction assessment form was a 5-level rating scale with 15 questions and; 4) a learning management plan for learning center-style learning package by finding mean, standard deviation and t-test. The research results found that 1) the efficiency value was 85.07/84.89, which was higher than the criterion 80/80; 2) the score after studying was higher than the score before studying with statistical significance at the .01 level; 3) the effectiveness index had a value Equal to 0.6194, indicating that students have increased knowledge accounted for 62.94 percent compared to the acceptable criteria of .50 and above; and 4) student satisfaction with learning package in the form of a learning center on the topic of  word formation in Thai language of Mathayom Suksa 3 students by using STAD Technique was at the highest level.
