Development of School Administration Model to Become a Happy Organization to Promote the Quality of Education Management of Schools under the Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

Abstract
The purposes of this research article were 1) to study the current and desirable conditions of being a happy organization; 2) to develop a model of school administration to become a happy organization; and 3) to examine the appropriateness and feasibility of the model. The research and development method used 3 steps: Step 1: to study the current and desirable conditions of being a happy organization. The sample group consisted of 313 school administrators and teachers using stratified sampling. The instrument used was the questionnaire on the current and desirable conditions of being a happy organization, with a reliability of 0.97. Quantitative data were analyzed using statistics, namely mean, standard deviation, and the need index: Step 2: to develop a model for school administration to become a happy organization through focus group discussions with 8 experts. The instrument used was the questionnaire on opinions for focus group discussions for analyzing qualitative data. Step 3: to examine the appropriateness and feasibility of the model. The sample group consisted of school administrators and teachers by using stratified sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire on the appropriateness and feasibility of the model, with a reliability of 0.92. Quantitative data were analyzed using statistics, namely mean, and standard deviation. The research results found that 1) school administrators and teachers in the schools had opinions on the current state of being a happy organization overall at a moderate level. The desired condition of being a happy organization overall was at the highest level; 2) the model of school administration to be a happy organization consisted of principles, objectives, components, indicators of being a happy organization, guidelines for developing school administration to be a happy organization, and conditions for success; 3) the appropriateness and feasibility of the model were found to be at the highest level and the feasibility was at the highest level.
