Development of Creative Writing Ability and Systemic Thinking of Mathayom Suksa 6 Students through Creative Learning-Based Management with Think Pair Share Technique

Abstract

The purposes of this research article were 1) to develop creative writing ability of Mathayom Suksa 6 students through creative learning-based management with Think Pair Share Technique with 80 percent of students passing the 75 percent criterion; and 2) to develop systematic thinking ability of Mathayom Suksa 6 students through creative learning-based management with Think Pair Share Technique with 80 percent of students passing the 75 percent criterion. The target group of the research was 26 Mathayom Suksa 6 students who were selected by purposive sampling. The research instruments consisted of 1) 12 creative learning-based management plans with Think Pair Share Technique, 2) a creative writing ability test, 3) a systematic thinking ability test, and 4) a learning behavior observation form, and 5) student interview form. Data analysis consisted of 1) analyzing data on creative writing ability and systematic thinking scores using mean, percentage and standard deviation, 2) analyzing the learning management results using creative learning-based management with Think Pair Share Technique from the learning behavior observation form, and student interview form by content analysis. The research results found that 1) in terms of developing creative writing ability of Mathayom Suksa 6 students using creative learning-based management with Think Pair Share Technique, 92.30 percent of students had an average score of 82.48 percent, which was Higher than the specified criteria, and 2) in the aspect of developing systematic thinking ability of Mathayom Suksa 6 students using creative learning-based management with Think Pair Share Technique, 92.30 percent of students had an average score of 86.22 percent, which was higher than the specified criteria.
