School Administration Model for Professional Skills Development of Secondary School Students in Phichit Province according to Iddhipada 4

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were 1) to study the current status of school administration for developing professional skills of students in secondary schools in Phichit Province; 2) to create a school administration model for developing professional skills of students in secondary schools in Phichit Province based on Iddhipada; and 3) to evaluate the appropriateness of the school administration model for developing professional l skills of students in secondary schools in Phichit Province based on Iddhipada 4. This was a mixed methods research by conducting content analysis and interviews with 18 key informants by an interview form, group discussions with 9 key informants using a group discussion record form, and 15 expert model assessors by an evaluation form. The statistics used were mean and standard deviation. The research results found that 1) the current status of school administration for developing professional skills of students in secondary schools in Phichit Province consisted of the aspect of academic administration, the curriculum has been developed to integrate professional skills with other subjects, allowing students to gain practical experience; in budget administration aspect, budget, resources, media, equipment and resources were allocated and networks were mobilized to jointly organize teaching and learning; in terms of personnel administration, human resources were developed to have knowledge and develop work for efficiency, create morale, create motivation, praise and support advancement; in the aspect of general administration, networking and participation were built, education was supported and managed, PDCA was used to drive the work, the goal was that students had professional skills and income. Networking and coordination helped school administration to develop professional skills successfully; 2) the results of creating a school administration model to develop professional skills of students in secondary schools in Phichit Province according to Iddhipada 4 found that in academic administration, academic administration had 12 guidelines, budget administration had 10 guidelines, personnel administration had 6 guidelines, and general administration had 6 guidelines; 3) the results of evaluating school administration model to develop professional skills of students in secondary schools in Phichit Province according to Iddhipada 4 in all aspects were at the highest level.
