Abstract

The objectives of this research article were 1) to create and evaluate the effectiveness of mathematics learning activities using the 5 teaching practices and Socratic questioning technique to promote Mathematical representations according to the 75/75 criterion; 2) to study the results of using the 5 teaching practices and Socratic questioning technique to promote Mathematical representations of Prathom Suksa 6 students; and 3) to study the satisfaction of Prathom Suksa 6 students with the learning activities. This was a research and development study using a purposive sampling method with a sample of 10 Prathom Suksa 6 students from Nong Sakae Pracha Nukun School. The research findings revealed that 1) the evaluation of the learning activity's effectiveness resulted in a score of 75.93/87.04, meeting the established criterion of 75/75; 2) mathematical representation ability was found to be significantly higher after the intervention than before, at a statistical significance level of .05. Furthermore, the post-intervention ability to present mathematical ideas was significantly higher than the 75% criterion at the .05 statistical significance level; 3) the results of the satisfaction study of Prathom Suksa 6 students revealed that their overall satisfaction was at a high level.
