Guidelines for Developing the New Generation of Society Using Buddhist Principles

Abstract

This academic article aimed to study guidelines for developing the new generation using Buddhadhamma. The study found that development should be undertaken in four key areas: 1) in terms of cultivating morality and ethics, it involved training in morality and ethics, acting as a role model in behaving in a correct and appropriate way; 2) in the aspect of mental development and enhancing intelligence, it involved practicing mindfulness and meditation through continuous practice of Dhamma and studying the teachings of Buddhism regularly; 3) in terms of integrating technology with Buddhadhamma, the application has been developed to support the study and research of various knowledge, both religious and secular, focusing on the study of Tipitaka and Dhamma via online media as a life skill that was beneficial to both oneself and society; and 4) in the aspect of applying Buddhadhamma in daily life and work, it involved applying Buddhist principles in daily life to improve skills in speaking, listening, communication, honor, and empathy for others.
