THE EFFECT OF USING COUNSELING MODEL ACCORDING TO THE FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS PTINCIPLES TOWARDS ENHANCING HAPPINNESS AMONG PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

Abstract
Subject for the Research of The Results of using counseling model according to the Four Noble Truth principles towards Enhancing Happiness Among Parents of Children with Special Needs are;
- To study the counseling model according to the Four Noble Truth principles towards Enhancing Happiness Among Parents of Children with Special Needs.
- To create the counseling model according to the Four Noble Truth principles towards Enhancing Happiness Among Parents of Children with Special Needs.
- To present the Experimental results of the counseling model according to the Four Noble Truth principles towards Enhancing Happiness Among Parents of Children with Special Needs.
This research is quasi-experimental research using Purposive Sampling.
There were 7 Parents of Children with Special Needs that voluntarily participated experimental activities throughout the whole process.
The process were to conduct the counseling model according to the Four Noble Truth. Quantitative data analysis was done by using Descriptive Statistics method. The testimonial process was carried out and the scores were compared before and the experimental principles. using non-parametric statistics (Nonparametric) using the Wilcoxon matched pairs test method and qualitatively analyzed the data by content analysis and analytic induction.
The results of the research can be summarized as follows:
The counseling model according to the Four Noble Truth principles towards Enhancing Happiness Among Parents of Children with Special Needs was the processes that encourages thinking and attention experiences to achieve processes of profound thinking before responding to stimulators by applying the Four Noble Truth, practicing of mindfulness and improving perception of suffering to ways of happiness through the following processes.
a.) Happy creation. Realize Suffering.
b.) Enjoy searching cause of suffering.
c.) Goal to Nirvana.
d.) Create prosperity paths.
e.) Lead the life with Dharma.
The experimental results based on the consultation process according to the Four Noble Truth principles towards Enhancing Happiness Among Parents of Children with Special Needs concluded that the parents who obtained the consultation process according to the Four Noble Truth principles towards Enhancing Happiness Among Parents of Children with Special Needs have happiness statistical test resulted that it was higher prior to participation gnificantly at level 0.05
