ADMINISTRATION OF THE LOCAL CURRILUM ON THAI RAMAN WEAVING OF WATMUANG SCHOOL IN RATCHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to 1) study local knowledge on weaving Thai Raman cloth of Watmuang School and 2) administer the local curriculum on weaving Thai Raman cloth of Watmuang School. Ratchaburi Province The target group for the research includes educational institution administrators, teachers, community leaders, and local philosophers. school board and students in Mathayomsuksa 1-3 at Watmuang School Ratchaburi Province, a total of 60 people. The tools used in the research include: The interview form had a consistency value between 0.67-1.00. The academic achievement test The consistency value is between 0.67-1.00. Statistics used in data analysis include percentage, mean, standard deviation. And the qualitative data analysis used content analysis.

The research results found that

1. Local knowledge regarding the weaving of Thai Raman cloth at Watmuang School consists of 1) basic information of the Banmuang community 2) history of Thai Raman cloth, Banmuang 3) materials, equipment and methods for weaving Thai Raman cloth 4) types and patterns of woven cloth. Thai Raman 5) outstanding characteristics of Thai Raman fabric 6) weaving of Watmuang School and 7) creating products from Thai Raman woven fabric


2. Local curriculum administration on Weaving Thai Raman cloth at Watmuang School consists of 4 steps: 1) planning to develop the local curriculum, 2) implementing the development of the local curriculum, 3) evaluating the local curriculum, and 4) improving the local curriculum for the results of local curriculum development practices on Thai Raman weaving of Watmuang School consists of curriculum structure, local content, course description For Mathayom 1, there are 4 learning units. namely 1) investigating the history of the story, 2) prospering in the wisdom of Thai Raman weaving, 3) creating products, and 4) seeing the importance of traditional Thai Raman weaving fabric. There are 10 learning management plans. Mathayom 2 has 3 learning units: 1) Raman Thai woven fabric patterns, 2) assorted skills, and 3) creating awareness. There are 10 learning management plans. As for Mathayom 3, there are 4 learning units: 1) the process of weaving Thai Raman fabric, 2) various skills, 3) fabric patterns, and 4) weaving vocations and product work. There are 10 learning management plans. Results of the curriculum trial. Mathayom 1 students have higher academic achievement after studying than before. Accounting for 33.20 percent, students' practical skills were at a level of 84.25. Mathayom 2 students have higher academic achievement after studying than before. Accounting for 24.67 percent, students' practical skills were at the level of 83.54, and Mathayom 3 students had higher academic achievement than before studying. Accounted for 28.05 percent and students' practical skills were at a level of 84.56.
