THE RESEARCH ON THE INFLUENCE OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP ON EMPLOYEE DIGITAL-ENABLED PERFORMANCE

บทคัดย่อ

This study attempts to examine the relationships between transformational leadership, digital learning and employee digital performance. A research model was proposed and tested with 358 samples from 14 companies in China. The results reveal that transformational leadership has a positive effect on digital exploitative learning. Similarly, transformational leadership has a positive effect on digital exploratory learning. Further, the study finds that transformational leadership has a positive indirect effect on employee digital  performance through the mediation of digital exploitative learning and through the mediation of digital exploratory learning. This study consolidates and extends the  technology use literature and advances leadership theory to the digital context. Furthermore, practitioners can use the findings of this study when they perform their role of leaders to challenge creativity and innovation among followers.
