PEOPLE’S PERCEPTION ON LOCAL POLITICIAN PERSONALITY TRAIT

Abstract
The objective of this research is to study people’s perception on local politician personality trait. The researcher developed a questionnaire from literature review and collected 400 respondents of people who situate in Ubon Ratchathani province. The statistical analysis are frequency, percentage, standard deviation and coefficient correlation analysis. The research results contributed that the mean difference of personal factors in terms of age, generated no significant difference to local politician personality trait at t = .414 (Sig .679). The elements of local politician personality trait such as openness, conscience, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism correlated positively and negatively. It can be concluded that openness, conscience, extraversion and agreeableness, are the positive personality traits as people need.
