SITUATIONS, NEEDS AND GUIDELINES FOR THE DEVELOPPING EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE MOBILIZATION OF SCHOOLS UNDER THE OFFICE OF NAKHON PHANOM PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA 1

Abstract

The objectives of this research were (1) to study the current situations and desirable situations of educational resource mobilization of schools under the Office of Nakhon Phanom Primary Educational Service Area 1; (2) to study needs for the development of educational resource mobilization of schools under the Office of Nakhon Phanom Primary Educational Service Area 1; and (3) to develop guidelines for educational resource mobilization of schools under the Office of Nakhon Phanom Primary Educational Service Area 1. The samples employed consisted of 291 school administrators and teachers in the Office of Nakhon Phanom Primary Educational Service Area 1. The sample sized by the percent criterion which were selected by Stratified Random Sampling. There were 4 instruments used in this research: (1) a five-rating scale questionnaire in current situations (2) a five rating scale questionnaire in desirable situations (3) a structed-interview form; and (4) a suitability and possibility assessment form guidelines for developing the educational resource mobilization. The overall current situation is at very high level. The overall desirable situation, it was at the highest level. 2) assessment of necessity. The aspects which are higher than the overall value consisted of 3 aspects: Participation in community of educational resources mobilization; planning and aiming of educational resources mobilization and Management of educational resource mobilization 3) guidelines for the developing educational resource mobilization 3.1) planning and having goals for educational resource mobilization, should set clear objectives before starting to mobilize educational resources. 3.2) Knowledge and understanding of personnel about rules for mobilizing educational resources, personnel should have knowledge of the rules related to resource mobilization through 3.3) Management of educational resource mobilization, should consider about the purposes which has been set before mobilizing the educational resource. 3.4) Participation of community in resource mobilization, the community should have the same idea and purpose for mobilizing educational resources. 3.5) Internal participation of the organization in mobilizing educational resources, personnel should be the main operators in the mobilization of resources. 3.6) Checking the results of educational resource mobilization, the results of operations should be examined in accordance with the objectives set 3.7) Problem analysis and educational resource mobilization guidelines, personnel should analyze problems that happened after mobilizing educational resources. Problems should be solved and used to be the guidelines for the next time educational resources mobilization.
