OPERATING CONDITIONS AND GUIDELINES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHAMPASAK PROFESSIONAL TECHNICAL COLLEGE LAOS

Abstract

              The study aimed to: (1) to study the potential of Community Based Tourism Development in Boeng Chouk Community, Banteay Srei Village, Khna Sondai Commune, Banteay Srei District, Siem Reap Province (2) Guideline for Community Based Tourism Development in Boeng Chouk Community, Banteay Srei Village, Khna Sondai Commune, Banteay Srei District, Siem Reap Province. Key informant is a group of stakeholders in the area, consisting of community leaders, Community Based Tourism Management Committee and local philosophers and government and private sector. Methods for collecting data from semi-structured interviews and focus group interviews, by method of content analysis and descriptive analysis. The results of the research revealed that there are 7 guidelines to develope Boeng Chouk Community Based Tourism Banteay Srei Village, Khna Sondai Commune, Banteay Srei District, Siem Reap Province, they are: 1) Develop the potential of the area and the attraction in the Boeng Chouk Community to be more interesting. 2) Develop on management and participation of Boeng Chouk Community to be better. 3) Develop facilities in the community to be standard ready to serve tourists, 4) Develop tourism activities in the Boeng Chouk Community that can Use the community potential include culture and natural resources to be applied to be interesting 5) Develop the potential of people in the community to enhance service. 6) Develop infrastructure in the community and community contact channels that can help tourists to reach the community more conveniently. 7) Develop community accommodation for tourists.
