THE ROLE OF COMMUNITY LEADERS IN DRIVING THE SUFFICIENCY ECONOMY MODEL VILLAGE "YO YEN BE HAPPY", BAN NON SI THONG, VILLAGE NO. 11, TAMBON SIKHUN HAN DISTRICT, SISAKET PROVINCE

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the context, background, and the roles of community leaders in driving the development of the prototype sufficiency economy village “Yo Yen Pen Suk”, Ban Non Si Thong, Village No. 11, Si Sub-district, Khun Han District, Si Sa Ket Province. by collecting data in the field through in-depth interviews, small group discussions, and participatory observations. which has a group of key informants consisting of official community leader and not official Heads of 30 development households and government officials from  Khun Han District Community Development Office.The research findings were as follows:            The first thing the official community leaders of Non Si Thong Village undertake to develop the village is the survey of community funds. community planning Because these are the basic information that will be used in development planning. It can be seen that Ban Non Si Thong is ready in terms of community funds and community plan preparation. In addition, the leader must have the characteristics of a brave-hearted leader. can bring about change in the community and administer the community based on the principles of participation There is a village community forum every month to share news and receive complaints from villagers.Ban Non Sri Thong community leaders are ready to work as a team. By providing opportunities for leaders of groups, organizations, villagers to take part as a leader in driving activities From the study of the implementation process of the Ban Non Si Thong prototype sufficiency village project, it was found that at every stage, community leaders will rely on participatory processes as the main approach for development. The community forum will be used as a platform that allows everyone to share their opinions and learn together.
