LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT ON THE EXPANSION OF AYUTTHAYA KINGDOM IN THE THAI HISTORY SUBJECT USING THE STAD TECHNIQUE IN COOPERATIVE LEARNING AND ACTIVITY SET FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL 2

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were (1) to compare learning achievements of after and before study on the development of the Ayutthaya kingdom in History subject when using the STAD technique in cooperative learning and the activity package. (2) to study the satisfaction of the students towards the STAD technique in cooperative learning method and the activity package. The sample group was selected by cluster sampling, including 30 Mathayom 2 students, academic year 2022, Loei Anukunwittaya School. Mueang Loei District, Loei Province. The research tools consisted of (1) a learning management plan and a set of learning activities for history subject on the development of the Ayutthaya Kingdom for Mathayomsuksa 2 students, (2) a history learning achievement test for Mathayomsuksa 2 students. (3) The student satisfaction assessment questionnaire on the cooperative learning method and the activity package on the development of the Ayutthaya Kingdom for Mathayomsuksa 2 students. The results showed that (1) students who were managed to learn by means of STAD technique in cooperative learning and a set of activities. There was a statistically significant higher learning achievement after learning than before learning at the .05 level of significance. (2) The students' satisfaction with the STAD technique in cooperative learning method and the learning activity package to study the learning achievement in history subject. For Matthayom Suksa 2 students, it was found that the overall satisfaction level of students was at a high level (mean 4.36 and standard deviation 0.48).
