THE DEVELOPMENT OF MATHEMATICAL PROBLEMS SOLVING ABILITY BY USING POLYA ’S CONCEPT FOR MATHAYOMSUKSA STUDENTS 5

Abstract
The purposes of this research were 1) to study Mathematical problems solving ability by using Polya’s concept for Mathayomsuksa Students 5 and 2) to study the students’ satisfaction by using Polya’s concept for Mathayomsuksa Students 5. The sample group included 25 students from Mathayomsuksa 5 in the first semester of the academic year 2023 those who obtained through cluster random sampling. The research instruments involved 1) lesson plans 2) testing paper and 3) a set of questionnaires. Data were statistically analyzed by mean, standard deviation, and one group sample.
The findings were revealed that The Mathematical problems solving ability by using Polya’s concept for Mathayomsuksa Students 5 were as level “Good” more than 70 %and the students’ satisfaction by using Polya’s concept for Mathayomsuksa Students 5 was generally found at the excellent level.
