A STUDY ON THE FACTORS INFLUENCING OF DECISION TO STUDY IN A GRADUATE DIPLOMA (TEACHING PROFESSION) AT RAJAMANGALA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY SUVARNABHUMI, SUPHANBURI CAMPUS

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to study on the factors influencing of decision to study in the graduate diploma (teaching profession) at Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Suphanburi Campus. The population used in the research was students of the graduate diploma (teaching profession), Faculty of Industrial Education at Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Suphanburi Campus for the academic years 2022 and 2023, totaling 199 individuals. The sample size for the research was calculated using Yamane's formula at a 95% confidence level, resulting in 132.29 people. To obtain a suitable sample, 135 individuals were selected using simple random sampling. The research tool used was a questionnaire designed to assess factors influencing the decision to pursue the graduate diploma program, divided into two parts: Part 1 collected general information about the respondents, and Part 2 factors influencing of decision to study in the graduate diploma (teaching profession) at Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Suphanburi Campus, and, and data analysis with descriptive statistics. The results of the research showed that the factors influencing of decision to study in the graduate diploma (teaching profession) at Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Suphanburi Campus. The internal factors that influence the decision to study in the graduate diploma (teaching profession) are the expectations of applicants (= 4.54) and the external factors that influence the decision to study in the graduate diploma (teaching profession) are the curriculum (= 4.60), teaching and learning management (= 4.54), lecturers (= 4.52), other aspects (= 4.49) and the image of the university (= 4.43), respectively.
