COMPONENTS AND INDICATORS OF SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE BASIC EDUCATION COMMISSION IN THE NORTHEASTERN REGION

Abstract
The objectives of this research were: 1) to develop components and indicators of spiritual leadership for school administrators under the Office of the Basic Education Commission in the Northeastern region; and 2) to verify the validity of components and indicators of spiritual leadership for school administrators under the Office of the Basic Education Commission in the Northeastern region. The research findings exposed that: 1) The developed components and indicators of spiritual leadership for school administrators under the Office of the Basic Education Commission in the Northeastern region, identified through exploratory factor analysis (EFA), consisted of 10 components and 58 indicators: 1) Visionary Support, with 13 indicators; 2) Core Goodness, with 12 indicators; 3) Self-Faith, with 7 indicators; 4) Sincere Love, with 5 indicators; 5) Creative Forgiveness, with 3 indicators; 6) Self-Control, with 5 indicators; 7) Strategy for Sustainability, with 4 indicators; 8) Courage, with 3 indicators; 9) Justice, with 3 indicators; and 10) Power of Hope, with 3 indicators. The eigenvalues ranged from 2.687 to 12.024, with a variance percentage between 4.404% and 19.712%, and a cumulative variance percentage of 87.139%. 2) The components and indicators of spiritual leadership for school administrators under the Office of the Basic Education Commission in the Northeastern region had an average score between 4.76 and 4.89, with an overall average of 4.81, which was significantly higher than the criterion (µ > 3.51) at the 0.01 level of statistical significance, confirming the criterion-related validity of all 10 components and 58 indicators.
