COMPOSING SONGS TO DEVELOP ENGLISH LANGUAGE ACHIEVEMENT ON THE TOPIC OF THE BODY BY USING SONGS FOR PRIMARY 2 STUDENTS

Abstract

The objectives of research are 1) To compare the achievement in English language subject on the topic of the body after learning by using songs in learning management and the normal learning management of grade 2 students, and 2) To study the satisfaction of grade 2 students in learning English on the topic of the body using songs. The representative sample of research is students in grade 2 at Banpomor (Phromthepratbamrung) school. Include with 3 classrooms. Sample group was 2 classrooms sampling method is randoming students with lottery drawing. The research tools include songs, learning management plans using songs. Normal learning plan, post-learning outcome assessment tests with conformity indices ranging from 0.67 to 1.00, The satisfaction questionnaire for the experimental group students has a conformity index of 0.67 to 1.00. Statistical analysis utilized average values, standard deviations, and independent group mean comparisons. The research findings indicate that 1) students who used English language learning about the body using songs had higher academic achievement after studying. Students who receive normal learning arrangements were statistically significant at the level .01 and 2) Students' satisfaction with the management of English language learning about the body using songs have highest score is 4.97
