THE ROLE OF ADMINISTRATORS IN PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE NONTHABURI

Abstract

The objective of this research were 1) to study the role of administrators in personnel management in schools under the Nonthaburi Secondary Educational Service Area Office. 2) to compare the opinions of the role of administrators in personnel management, Classified by gender, age, educational level, work experience and school size. 3) to study recommendations on the role of administrators in personnel management. A sample group of 318 using stratified sampling. The instrument used a questionnaire statistics with individual IOC values between 0.67 to 1.00 and  reliability of 0.98. The statistical used percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, LSD (Least Significant Difference), and content analysis. The results of the research were as follows: 1) The role of administrators in personnel management was rated at a high level as a whole. Considering aspect,  the highest average is determining the necessity for personnel development, followed by planning for personnel development, implementing personnel development activities, and evaluating personnel performance, respectively. 2) The comparison of school’s  opinions about the role of administrators in personnel management of administrators and teachers Classified by gender, age, educational level, work experience and school size. Were statistically significant  at .01 level 3) Recommendations for enhancing the role of administrators in personnel management. Administrators should consider the necessity to adapt to the context of the educational institution and provide ongoing training to keep pace with changes in the digital era.
