DEVELOPMENT OF CURRICULUM TO ENHANCE AN E -PORTFOLIO DESIGN ABILITY FOR CAREER ADVANCEMENT IN THE NEXT NORMAL BASED ON DESIGN THINKING OF TEACHER STUDENTS

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to Development of curriculum to enhance an E - portfolio design ability for career advancement in the next normal based on design thinking of teacher students and 2) to evaluate the quality of the curriculum to enhance an E - portfolio design ability for career advancement in the next normal based on design thinking of teacher students. The results of the study revealed that: 1. The curriculum developed has three principles: 1) Aim for learners to play a role in organizing the learning management process proactively; 2) Focus on students to exchange learning and reflect together through interaction, and 3) Promote the application of knowledge, skills and experiences in real life. The aim of the course is to equip learners with the ability to design electronic portfolios by Google Sites. The content of the course is as follows: 1) Get to know the portfolio, 2) Prepare a user account to use Google Sites, 3) Create an e-Portfolio with Google Site, and 4) Publish an e-Portfolio online. The learning experience consists of 4 stages: 1) Preparatory stage, 2) Collaborative learning exchange stage, 3) Design and build an electronic portfolio, and 4) Reflection stage. The measurement and evaluation approach are carried out using the E - portfolio design ability assessment. 2. The quality of the curriculum to enhance an E - portfolio design ability for career advancement in the next normal based on design thinking of teacher students are as follows:2.1 The E - portfolio design ability of students were at a high level. It has an average score of 20.57. 2.2 The E - portfolio design ability of students were higher than the 70 percent at the .01 level of significance.
