THE SCOUTING MANAGEMENT OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER THE OFFICE OF PRIVATE EDUCATION SONGKHLA PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to 1) Study the scouting management of school administrators under the Office of Private Education, Songkhla Province, 2) Compare the scouting management of school administrators under the Office of Private Education, Songkhla Province, and 3) Gather suggestions for the scouting management of school administrators under the Office of Private Education, Songkhla Province. The sample group consisted of 323 teachers under the Office of Private Education, Songkhla Province. They were selected by stratified random sampling according to the size of the schools and then by simple random sampling using the lottery method. The tool used in this study was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire with 36 items. The reliability value of the questionnaire was 0.97. The statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results showed that: 1) The scouting management of school administrators, as a whole, was at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that it was at high and the highest level. 2) Teachers with different scouting qualifications had no different opinions on the whole aspect. When considering each aspect, it was found that teachers had opinions on the Administrator aspect, the Director aspect, and the Mass Activity aspect at a statistically significant level of .001. As for the Scout aspect, teachers had no different opinions. 3) Teachers classified by the size of the schools, had opinions on a whole and each aspect at a high level. 4) Suggestions each aspect: Scout, Administrator, Mass activity, and Director, respectively.
