THE DEVELOPMENT OF MATHEMATICS LEARNING ACTIVITIES PACKAGE ON MULTIPLICATION USING ONLINE TEACHING MEDIA AND SKILLS PRACTICE EXERCISES BY USING CONSTRUCTIVISM FOR THIRD-YEARS PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to 1) find the effectiveness of a set of mathematics learning activities Package on Multiplication Using Online Teaching Media and Skills Practice Exercises By Using Constructivism For Third-years Primary School Students, meeting the standard criteria of 75/75. 2) Compare the learning outcomes on multiplication between a group that received online teaching activities with skill practice according by using constructivism and a group that received regular teaching methods. 3) Study the satisfaction of Third-years Primary School Students towards the mathematics learning activities on multiplication using online teaching and skill practice according by using constructivism. The sample group for this research consists of 30 students from Third-years Primary School Students, class 1 and 30 students from Third-years Primary School Students, class 2 at Rewadee Phatthalung School, Muang District, Phatthalung Province, in the first semester of the 2023 academic year, selected through multi-stage random sampling. The research tools include a lesson plan on multiplication according by using constructivism, a multiplication skills practice set, online teaching materials (PowerPoint program), a test to measure learning outcomes on multiplication, and a satisfaction survey towards the mathematics learning activities on multiplication using online teaching and skills practice according by using constructivism. The statistical analysis used includes percentages, means, standard deviations, and independent t-tests. The research findings show that the mathematics learning activities on multiplication according by using constructivism have an effectiveness of 89.79/84.50, which is higher than the set criteria. The learning outcomes on multiplication for third-grade students after receiving online teaching activities with skills practice according by using constructivism are significantly higher than those who received regular teaching methods at a significant level of 0.01. Overall, the satisfaction of Third-years Primary School Students towards the mathematics learning activities on multiplication using online teaching and skill practice according by using constructivism is at the highest level (= 4.93, SD = 0.25).
