SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHERS' SKILLS IN MANAGING MODERN ONLINE LEARNING

Abstract

This article aims to present the essential skills for social studies teachers in managing modern online learning. The key skills include: 1) Technological knowledge 2) Communication and relationship building 3) Online lesson design 4) Learning assessment 5) Time management 6) Critical thinking development, and 7) Flexibility and adaptability, integrated with C-Teachers skills. For teachers to manage learning effectively and achieve impactful outcomes for students, they must possess diverse essential knowledge and be able to integrate this knowledge appropriately with the students and the current classroom situations. This allows teachers to conduct learning management in alignment with the new era's educational context effectively.
