THE CONDITIONS OF INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE OF THE ISLAMIC PRIVATE SCHOOL UNDER THE OFFICE OF PRIVATE EDUCATION SONGKHLA PROVINCE

Abstract
The objectives of this study were to 1) study the conditions of internal quality assurance, 2) compare the conditions of internal quality assurance classified by the education levels, working experiences, and school sizes, and 3) Gather suggestions for the conditions of internal quality assurance of the Islamic private school under the Office of Private Education Songkhla Province. The sample group consisted of 310 teachers under the Office of Private Education, Songkhla Province. They were selected by stratified random sampling according to the size of the schools and then by simple random sampling using the lottery method. The tool used in this study was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire with 65 items. The reliability value of the questionnaire was 0.925. The statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results showed that: 1) the conditions of internal quality assurance, as a whole, was at a highest level. When considering each aspect, it was found that it was at high and the highest level. 2) Teachers with different education levels, working experiences, and school sizes, had different opinions on the whole aspect at a statistically significant level of .001. 3) The top three suggestions are: the preparation of educational development plans for educational institutions, the implementation of educational development plans for educational institutions, and the monitoring of implementation results to develop educational institutions to have quality according to educational standards, respectively.
