The PROBLEMS IN THE PREPARATION OF THE FOOTBALL TEAM OF PIBULSONGKRAM RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY DEMONSTRATION SCHOOL FOR THE 28TH RAJABHAT RELATIONS DEMONSTRATION SPORTS COMPETITION

Abstract

The research entitled "Problems in Preparing the Football Team of Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University Demonstration School for the 28th Rajabhat Demonstration School Sports Competition" aims to 1) study the problems in preparing the football team and 2) compare the opinions of administrators, coaches, and athletes regarding the problems in preparing the football team.

            The research population consisted of 26 people in total: administrators, coaches, assistant coaches, and football athletes. Data was collected from the entire population using a 5-level Likert scale questionnaire, which underwent content validity testing (IOC). Descriptive statistics were used to study the population mean (μ) and population standard deviation (σ) to describe the basic characteristics of the respondents.

            Comparing the problems in preparing the football team, the research results found that... The overall picture of problems in preparing a football team is at a moderate level (μ = 2.95, σ = 1.39), ranked from most to least significant: problems with venue and equipment (μ = 3.55), training (μ = 2.82), athlete selection (μ = 2.74), and budget (μ = 2.68), respectively. The research indicates that the main problem is the inadequacy of venue and equipment, which directly affects the quality of training.

            Comparing the opinions between administrators, coaches, and athletes,no statistically significant differences at the .05 level were found in any aspect, indicating that all stakeholders share the view that the most important problem is the venue and equipment for training.
