Abstract

The objective of this research was to study the use of Buddhist Principles in the Performance of Phrapariyattidhamma Schools Administrators in General Education Division under the Phra Pariyattidhamma Educational Area, Department of General Education Area Office 5. This is quantitative research. Samples of the study were altogether 191 persons comprised of educational institutional administrators and teachers. Dada collection was conducted by questionnaires. Frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation and content analysis were used for data analysis.   

The results of this research found that: the level of using of Buddhist Principles in the Performance of Phrapariyattidhamma Schools Administrators in General Education Division under the Phra Pariyattidhamma Educational Area 5 as a whole was at high. When considering each aspect of administrative, they were all at high. Ranking by average value frotm maximum to minimum, they were administrative of academic, personnel, general, and budgeting respectively. The suggestion guidelines from the study were divided in each aspect of administrative as follows. For academic aspect, when analyzing the requirement of schools, learners and communities, the causes and school analysis should be conducted by administrators as well as their aims, objectives and visions   had to be established accordance with their curriculum. For budgeting, annually project planning with budget spending should be conducted efficiency accordance with the timeframe and the educational institutional context. In terms of personnel management, it should be recruitment, placement, appointment and job mobility planning systematically conducted by administrators together with the encouragement of the disciplinary and punctuality discipline. For general administrative, administrators should make use of personnel work performance assessment for task assignment and allocation. And there should be up to date information system and network developed.
