Quality School Management towards Excellence under the Jurisdiction of the Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office Area 4: A Case Study

This research the objectives are to; 1) study the phenomenon of managing quality schools towards excellence and 2) propose guidelines for managing quality schools towards excellence. It is qualitative research. Important information providers are School director and personnel, number 23 people. The instrument used was a semi-structured interview. Document study Fieldwork using in-depth interviews, participant and non-participant observation, tape recording, field notes, and photography. Analyze data By means of content analysis, the reliability of the data was checked using a triangulation method. (triangulation).
The research results were as follows:
1. Phenomenon of quality school management leading to excellence According to the 5 elements of management towards excellence: Strategic planning, Workforce Focus, Administration, Leadership, Student focus.
2. Guidelines for managing quality schools towards excellence: Strategic Planning Schools should have a regular and current analysis of the school environment. Personnel focus Schools should encourage and support the development of personnel quality. Operational focus Schools should plan with information and integrate it to achieve school outcomes. Leadership Administrators should understand the overall school context which is essential information for decision-making in the direction of school development towards excellence. Student focus Schools should develop curriculum and instructional
management that focus on students to achieve excellence in all aspects.
