Changes to Article Processing Charges (APC) Effective 1 January 2027

The Rangsit Music Journal (RMJ) wishes to inform authors of two changes to its article processing charge (APC), effective for all manuscripts submitted on or after 1 January 2027.

First, the timing of payment will change. The APC will no longer be collected at the time of submission. Instead, it will be charged only after the manuscript has been approved, revised in accordance with the reviewers' recommendations, and formatted to meet the journal's requirements. Payment of the APC will then be required before the formal letter of acceptance can be issued by the editorial board. Submission and peer review will therefore be free of charge, and authors whose manuscripts are not accepted will incur no fee.

Second, the APC will be adjusted to USD 325 or THB 10,000 per article (excluding transaction fees). This revision reflects the rising costs of editorial management, peer review coordination, and copyediting. It is also necessary to maintain the journal's publication standards in accordance with Scopus and TCI requirements.

Manuscripts submitted before 1 January 2027 will remain subject to the current fee and payment terms. Full details will be updated in the Author Guidelines on the journal website. For questions, please contact the editorial office.
