BARTOK'S TWO ROMANIAN DANCES, OP. 8A: PERFORMANCE PRACTICE AND INTERPRETATION
Abstract
The purposes of this study are: 1) to suggest performance practice of Bartok's Two Romanian Dances, Op. 8a and 2) to suggest interpretation of Bartok's Two Romanian Dances, Op. 8a for the effective performance 3) to develop the performer's performance techniques. Due to the level of practice and music interpretation of individual performer is varied, this research article offers different techniques in practicing and how to interpret for the effective performance. Furthermore, all suggestions can also be applied on other pieces to achieve successful performance.
