Abstract

This independent study was conducted for purpose of finding the most efficient method of practicing Jeans Sibelius's Violin Concerto in D minor. The steps therein proved efficient and are the result of the author's thorough study on the matter. Nevertheless, individual students with unique styles of practicing may encounter different problems along the way. This method can also be implemented on other pieces to reach greater practice efficiency.
