Abstract

          This research paper is initiated with regard to the study of the set of Four Last Songs which is written by Richard Strauss. Its main purpose is not only to study its singing technique but also to its meaning interpretation which conforms to the melody of the composer. Significantly, the target group of this song is Soprano female singers, and the observation primarily focus on the study of singing methods. This research study also mainly includes the methods of the selection from the proper intonation, the song phasing to the note singing articulation. In addition, the proper singing and breathing techniques are; therefore, introduced accordingly. In other words, there are a variety of specific practice patterns which are used to be beneficial to the solo performance in master’s degree. This is to be utilized to develop the singing skills and potential among those who are interested in studying how to sing soprano.
