ONLINE LEARNING ARRANGEMENT FOR CREATIVE WRITING: IGNITE WRITING INSPIRATION THROUGH ACTIVE LEARNING AND ASSESSMENT FOR LEARNING
Abstract
This article aims to propose the concept and practice guidelines for the arrangement of creative writing in online classes with the application of the concept on active learning through creative writing by Morley (2007), applied with Assessment as Learning which includes the following key steps; 1) Collaborating in analyzing the purpose of writings 2) Selecting forms and presentation platforms 3) Connecting words to form writings 4) Rechecking and editing writings and 5) Publishing on online platforms. The arrangement of creative writing learning through online classes enables students to develop, integrate knowledge and enhance thinking and writing skills as well as good attitudes towards communication in the digital era.
