DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS’ LEARNING SKILLS BY ROLE-PLAY IN ORGANIZATION DEVELOPMENT COURSE

Abstract

          This research aims to study students' learning skills by using role assumption in organizational development course. Sample group in this research consisted of 38 students enrolled in Class A1 of Organizational Development Course, Bachelor of Business Administration Program, Faculty of Management, Suan Dusit University, in the first semester of academic year 2016. Questionnaire was used as research tool. The statistics used in the study were average score, standard deviation, independent t-test, and one-way ANOVA.
          The research found that
          1. The overall scores for students learning skills are highly satisfactory. When considering each aspect, it was found that the students have earned highest scores for teamwork skills, expression skills and thinking skills.
          2. Different genders showed similar learning development process and displayed indifferent role assumption. When considering each aspect, it is found that different genders showed indifferent learning development process under similar role assumptions in all aspects.
          3. In an overall and for each aspect, students with different cumulative point average showed indifferent learning development process under similar role assumptions.
          4. In an overall and for each aspect, students with different class attendance showed indifferent learning development process under similar role assumptions.
