Abstract

This study was aimed at Study the accounting staff characteristics according to the needs of the accounting office in the northeastern.

          The instruments in this study were the Questionnaire of the characteristics of the accounting staff according to the requirements of the accounting office in the northeast.  The Statistics which used in data analysis were descriptive, Percentage and Standard deviation.

          It found that the Accounting Office Managers gave opinions about the accounting staff characteristics as required by the accounting office, the northeastern region in the overall was at high (= 4.44). When considering each item, they were at a high at all. Whereas, we are sort the average from most to least in 4 topic such as Basic knowledge in  professional accounting skills and having continual learning (= 4.50),  honest in the profession, morality, ethics, responsibility for themselves and society (= 4.44), Wide vision, having creativity Develop professional skills and effective communication technology skills                        (=4.43) and time management ability, discipline and able to follow the rules of the organization or agency (= 4.40).
