This research aims to 1) examine the application of Buddhist principles in human resource management (HRM) practices, 2) analyze the differences in perceptions of Buddhist HRM across demographic factors, and 3) develop a conceptual model for Buddhist HRM to enhance organizational well-being. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative research. The research instruments include questionnaires and semi-structured interviews.

The quantitative sample comprises 402 employees from OEM businesses specializing in health, beauty, and dietary supplements in Samut Sakhon Province, calculated using Taro Yamane’s formula with a 0.05 margin of error and selected through accidental sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics such as percentages, means, and standard deviations, as well as inferential statistics including t-tests and F-tests to identify significant differences. Qualitative data were collected through interviews with key stakeholders and analyzed using content analysis. The results indicate that:

Buddhist HRM practices focusing on moral development, relationship building, knowledge enhancement, and motivation are implemented effectively across businesses, contributing to positive organizational outcomes.Significant differences were found in the implementation of Buddhist HRM practices based on demographic factors such as education level, work experience, and business size. Larger organizations and those with more experienced employees showed higher alignment with Buddhist principles. A conceptual model was developed emphasizing ethical conduct (sīla), mental concentration (samādhi), and wisdom (paññā) as core pillars of Buddhist HRM. This model fosters employee well-being, collaboration, and ethical organizational development
