Improving the Quality of Life of a Model Sufficiency Family : “Lom, Luk, Cluk, Klann, Dern” according to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy : A Case Study at Baan Yai Kata, Ratchaburi

บทคัดย่อ

The victim family from economic crisis had come for help from the Social Administration Foundation (SAF), a public non-government organization located in Ratchaburi province called “The Sufficiency Economy Learning Center, Ban Yai Kata, Ratchaburi”. The center assists underprivileged people to be self-reliant on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of King Rama IX. This family lived in shelter and received services, e.g. training on knowledge of the philosophy of sufficiency economy, developing abilities in agriculture with related agencies, e.g. being a member of the Women's Development Fund, cultivation of wood ear mushrooms, food preservation, making decoupage artificial flowers, joining in activities with the Royal Lovers club in Ratchaburi. They could learn activities to develop skills, increase income, spend wisely and get the most out of it. During 2013-2015, this family was able to buy land for 1 rai at a cheap price. They had moved out to live a new life with self-reliance on the principles of sufficiency economy until present.
