Abstract

Public relations is an essential tool for building a positive image of vocational education institutions through systematic communication processes. With effective data collection, planning, communication, and evaluation, institutions can efficiently share information about their curriculum, facilities, costs, career prospects, and educational pathways. Using appropriate media for target audiences helps build community trust and cooperation while preventing misunderstandings. The effective public relations creates credibility and faith from the community, leading to continuous support in educational development. Moreover, it helps prevent and resolve potential misunderstandings between institutions  and communities, fostering strong relationships  and mutual understanding. This comprehensive communication approach ultimately strengthens  the institution's positive image and establishes sustainable relationships with society, making vocational education institutions more recognized and respected in the public eye.
