The Relationship Between Managerial Behaviors of School Administrators and Management Efficiency of Learning Environment in the 21st Century in Schools under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, Ubonratchathani Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study (1) the managerial behaviors of the school administrators in the 21st century; (2) the management efficiency of learning environment in the 21st century; and (3) the relationship between managerial behaviors of school administrators and management efficiency of learning environment in the 21st century in schools under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, Ubonratchathani province. The sample consisted of 272 teachers from nine schools under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, Ubonratchathani province in the academic year 2024, obtained by simple random sampling. The research instrument was an online rating scale questionnaire dealing with data on managerial behaviors of school administrators and management efficiency of learning environment in the 21st century, with reliability coefficients of .98 and .95, respectively. Statistics employed for data analysis were the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient. The research findings were as follows: (1) the overall managerial behaviors of school administrators in the 21st century was at a high level; (2) the overall management efficiency of learning environment in the 21st century was at a high level; and (3) the managerial behaviors of school administrators positively correlated at the highest level  (r = .81) with the management efficiency of learning environment in the 21st century, which was significant at the .01 level.
