Abstract

A Study on Risk Management in Bachelor's Degree Program Administration This research aimed to:     1) study the factors and levels of risk in bachelor's degree program administration, 2) establish a process for risk management planning in bachelor's degree program administration and 3) plan for risk management in bachelor's degree program administration. This study used a action research approach conducted in two phases. The target group consisted of 40 individuals from the Northeastern Institute of Vocational Education 3, including      the Director of Vocational Education Graduate and the Heads of Bachelor's Degree Programs. The research findings revealed the following 1) Risk Factors :      1. Program administration according to the Higher Education Standards Committee's 2022 bachelor's degree curriculum standards : Risks were found to be at a medium to high level. 2. Student admissions: Risks were at a medium level. 3. Student development and management affecting students: Risks were at     a medium to high level. 4. Faculty administration and development : Risks were at a medium to very high level. 5. Instructional management and student assessment: Risks were at a medium-to-very-high level. 6. Provision of learning support: Risks were at    a high-to-very-high level. 2) Risk Management Planning Process : 1. Risk Identification 2. Risk Assessment 3. Risk Management and Plan Development 3) Risk Management Plan : The study identified 12 items identified as high to very high risk out of a total of 25 items. These items include : Faculty Administration and Development : The faculty management system in workplaces , and the faculty promotion and development system. Teaching, Learning, and Student Assessment: Monitoring and auditing learning outcome assessments in accordance with the Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education, and general teaching and learning management. Provision of Learning Support Facilities: The sufficiency and suitability of learning support facilities, the system for curriculum operations with enterprises, and enterprises as co-producers of graduates. Curriculum Administration: The number and qualifications of faculty members responsible for the curriculum and the full-time faculty members. Student Development and Management: Developing student potential and promoting 21st-century learning skills, and supervising professional competency development projects. This research offers valuable insights for vocational education institutions seeking to enhance the quality and effectiveness of their bachelor's degree programs.
