Development of Business Analytical Thinking and Systematic Problem-Solving Skills Using the RVC-BizAI Model in the Course “AI Applications for Business”

Abstract
This study aimed to develop students’ business analytical thinking and systematic problem-solving skills through the RVC-BizAI Model, which integrates Game-Based Learning, Research-Based Learning, Critical Business Thinking, and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the course “AI Applications for Business.” The sample consisted of 20 first-year Higher Vocational Certificate (HVC) students majoring in Information Technology at Roi Et Vocational College, selected by purposive sampling. The research instruments included a business analytical thinking assessment, a systematic problem-solving skills assessment, and a student satisfaction questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, including mean and standard deviation, were used for data analysis. The results showed that students’ business analytical thinking skills were at a high level (𝑥̄ = 4.32, S.D. = 0.50), and their systematic problem-solving skills were also at a high level (𝑥̄ = 4.31, S.D. = 0.49). In addition, students’ overall satisfaction with the RVC-BizAI Model was high (𝑥̄ = 4.50, S.D. = 0.45). These findings indicate that the RVC-BizAI Model effectively enhances higher-order thinking skills, systematic problem-solving abilities, and the application of AI in business contexts.
