PROMOTION OF TEACHER PERFORMANCE STANDARDS AFFECTED TO THE QUALITY OF LEARNERS

Abstract

The purposes of this research was to find : 1) the levels of the promotion of teacher performance standards and the quality of learners, 2) the relationship between the promotion of teacher performance standards and the quality of learners, 3) the created predictive equations from the resulted  promotion of teacher performance standards affected to the quality of learners. The 338 samples used in this study were administrators and teachers in high schools under the secondary educational service area office 41. Instrument to this research was a questionnaire about the promotion of teacher performance standards affected to the quality of learners. The statistics used for data analysis were descriptive statistics, inferential statistics and multiple regressions. The findings revealed as follows :


1) The levels of the promotion of teacher performance standards and the quality of learners were overall at high levels.


2) The relationship between the promotion of teacher performance standards and the quality of learners were positive.


3) The creation of predictive equations of the quality of learners (0.05) was created by seven variables of the promotion of teacher performance standards
