THE SATISFACTION OF TOURISTS ON VISITING KHAO PRANOMRUNG FESTIVAL, BURIRUM PROVINCE

Abstract

This quantitative research aims to study the satisfaction of tourists on visiting to Phanom Rung festival in Buriram province and to study the level of satisfaction of tourists who go to Phanom Rung festival in Buriram province. A sample was selected from 385 tourists cases were included as a sample. The descriptive statistics were frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation and inferential statistics including t-test and One-Way ANOVA.


             The study found that the majority of visitors were female. Age between 20-29 years old. Occupation student Data on satisfaction in tourism at the high level were ( gif.latex?\bar{X}= 3.88) and standard deviation (0.464). It was found that the products had the highest mean ( gif.latex?\bar{X}= 4.14), followed by personnel (gif.latex?\bar{X} = 2.50) and physical characteristics (gif.latex?\bar{X} = 3.91). All levels of satisfaction are high.


              The results of the hypothesis test showed that the assumption of personal factors, gender aspects of tourist satisfaction differ statistically significant at the 0.05 level in products and marketing campaigns. The other side, there are no differences, and when considering the personal factors by age, education, occupation and income. It found that tourists who have a different age with different satisfaction; the statistically significant at the 0.05 level, when considering the classification of the various finds there is no different. When tested by Scheffe method, it was found that tourists with different age, education, occupation and income backgrounds, there is no difference in satisfaction.
