Abstract

This research was a survey research. The purpose of this research were to study 1) the current state 2) the desirable state and 3) the needs of using smart phones to promote students’ learning in secondary school under the office of education region area 5, Sing Buri province. The samples used in the research consisted of 12 principals and 214 teachers where were from 12 secondary schools of the Office of Secondary Education Area 5, Sing Buri province. Research tools was a double-response rating scale questionnaire, Statistics used to analyze data include frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and required index value.


Research results found that: 1) The current states in the overview were at a moderate level, with the top three average aspects: the learning process, teaching and learning, and infrastructure; 2) The desirable states in the overview was a highest level, with the top three average aspects: the learning resouces, public-private-community collaboration, and school management. 3) The needs found that the learning resources, the cooperation and school management.
