The Use of Image Language in Horror Novel Set 4 Deaths of Phakinai

Abstract
This article aimed to study of visual language techniques used in horror novel set 4 “The Deaths of Phakinai’s Direction of Morality” in the use words for visual language and figure of speech for visual language. The article studied the horror novel series “Death of Phakinai” which was first published in October 2015, including Nang Khaen, Nang Kook, Nang Kruan, Nang Khoi. The results of the study were presented by descriptive analysis method.
The study in the use words for visual language comprised 6 aspects; the use words for visual language of vision, the use words for visual language of symptoms and movements, the use words for visual language present the emotion, the use words for visual language of hearing, the use words for visual language of touching and the use words for visual language of smelling. The use of figure of speech for visual language comprised 6 aspects: Similar, Metaphor, Personification, Hyperbole, Paradox and Rhetorical Question.
