Editorial Note

Abstract

              This volume is the second  volume of the first year, (May - August 2017), consists of  6 academic articles as follows:

               A Comparison of the King in Eulogy Poem of Seventy-Year Anniversary of Rajdhammaraja is an article that aims to describe the analysis that Poets from all regions of Thailand That has created poems printed in books "A poem in honor of the 70th Seminar in Chalong Ratchadamracha" What are the strategies for using the contrast? what poets have reflected through poetry in the mention of the great King they love most?

               Life Metaphor in Seksan Prasoetkun's Life Diary  is an article that aims to study metaphysics as a perceptual process that reflects the concepts of language users. When a man has view or thinking about all beings, he has the behavior and use of language in consistence with the way of thinking. What is the life concept of Seksan Prasoetkun, an experienced man who is the hero on October 14, 1973, those who are fans of Seksan's books? should not miss this article.

               Creative Writing: Use of Words and Types of Writing is  an article that attempts to survey the synthesis of the essence of writing called "creative", how was it to create tactics and writing strategies.

               Isan Construction on the film: A case study of ‘Thai BanThe Series’ is an article that aims to reflect power in culture in which the cultural system has praises one culture and abuses a culture. The movie "Thai Ban The Series" as a social action pointed out that although the world has moved into the era of advanced technology, but the northeastern part reflected through the film is still being reproduced. Isan's discourse is "stupid to hurt" as before. The movie creates identity of Isan people as marginal people of underdevelopment and otherness. It seems that this discourse will force the Isan people to surrender to this other condition forever.

         Language of Persuasion in Airline Advertisements Appearing in Travel Magazines is an article that aims to study tactics to persuade, agree or transfer with language through the information used in 3 magazine named A-So-Tho, a travel magazine and the world travel magazine published in 2015-2016, with total of 72 books. The study found interesting persuasive language strategies.

        Review of Book on Making a Story: Story, Identity and Community in Marginal Feminist Literature is a review article that  reveals the struggle for women's rights has a long and varied development. The claim of women's rights to be equal to men with the belief that women by nature have the same dignity as men, but being social structure, whether legal or customs  make women appear weaker than men. This book collected marginalized women from various parts of the world, reflecting the struggle for male equality. Read this book will make understanding of many women in this world that falls under the myth of hatred, being abused and abused in a variety of ways, including prejudice, inferiority of ethnic origin, color, as well as being viewed as a sexual object.

        it is expected that the article in this journal may help to broaden the perspective and various ideas of readers and interested parties as the case may be, and lead to the development of  academic works that may  be beneficial for others.
