Abstract

 


       This volume  is  the second  volume of the third year which is published during the mouths of May - August, 2019,  consists of 6 research and academic articles as follows:


         The Development of Performing Arts from the Children’s Play Ritual of the Thai-Lao Ethnic Group in Sikhoraphum District, Surin Province  is an article that aimed at studying the  plays of children of Thai-Laos ethnic groups in Surin Province.  The study not only focuses on local wisdom to be preserved by collecting data and classifying many types of children's play, but also aims at development of performing arts from the said play. This study not only surveys what plays of this ethnic group are, but also studies the form of restoration or renewal for the wisdom of the plays of children in Surin province to make it come to life again.


          An Analysis of Thai Textbook Aksonnit  is an article that revealed that according to the news that Thai children in the school system are encountering problems of reading and writing even though they moved to the higher level in elementary school. As a result, the relevant agencies have to devote enormous budgets to solve problems. It is worth noting that this country has talked about problems and solved the problems of illegibility and illiteracy for 10 years, but it seems that such problems still exist and become more and more intense . A textbook analysis in this article indicates the fact that  whatever a person or a method that really caused the problem or both of them. Perhaps something which is called "innovation" or "modern technology" may not be the answer.


          The Use of Image Language in Horror Novel Set 4 Deaths of Phakhinai  is an article which revealed that Education in  humanities is the study of humans from birth to death. It included the analysis and study of works resulting from human creativity both to praise the potential and to believe in humanity .This research article  is a search for a writer's potential. Truely, what the researchers found  will affect one way or another to develop the potential of the researchers themselves.


         Beliefs about Ancestral Spirits of Southern Thai People: Ghosts, Beavis and Angels  is an article which tells the truth that there is a period of clashes between beliefs and ideas in Thai society that leads to many violent events? But in the end, the idea is lost to the belief every time. This may be because the power of belief is passed on to value and related to Thai life for a longer time. This academic article, therefore, confirms that belief is a way of life and culture for the survival of the future. It must respect and respect the older generation and the key word that determines the true power of faith is "gratitude".


         A Study of Learning Achievement on the Literature Critical Thinking Unit and Analytical Thinking of Twelfth Grade Students through the Six Thinking Hat Method  is an article which indicated that the world is changing very fast. Thailand must develop education to be in line with the a changing world. This is for the Thai youth to have skills in various fields such as adaptation, systematic thinking, creative skills and skills to solve problems. This research paper aims to develop the process of teaching and learning Thai language to have higher learning achievement, which is consistent with the current situation in which people must have desirable skills that should be developed in the 21st century world.


         The Phenomenon of Narratives to Literature in the Book "Literature: Historical Stories of Imagination" is a review of the book 'A Little History of Literature '.  Books are like a bridge between literature and the real world and explored various contexts that surrounded literature including ethnicity, society, history and culture, asking questions what would the way of literature in the future, when the fate of literature may not be in the hands of the author anymore, but in the grip of every reader.


       It is expected that the above 6 articles may help expand the viewpoints and ideas of readers and interested parties  to some extent and lead to the development of  individual academic works that may benefit others.
