A Study of Learning Achievement on Thai Language and Local Language Unit and Communication and Collaboration of Grade 5 Students Using 5-Steps Learning Management with Mind Mapping

Abstract
This research was a pre-experimental design research and the purpose were to 1) compare learning achievement on Thai language and Local language learning unit of grade 5 students using 5-steps learning management with mind mapping before and after learning management 2) compare learning achievement on Thai language and Local language learning unit of grade 5 students using the 5-steps learning management with the concept map with 70 percent criteria 3) compare communication and collaboration skills of grade 5 students using 5-steps learning management with mind mapping before and after learning management. The research samples were 17 of grade 5 students at Ban Khonchum School, Muang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, in the second semester of the academic year 2018, which were obtained by cluster random sampling. The instruments of this study consisted of 6 learning lesson plans 12 hour, achievement test and communication and collaboration skills assessment. Data was analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The study revealed that; 1) the post-test score of learning achievement on Thai language and Local language learning unit and communication and collaboration of grade 5 students using 5-steps learning management with mind mapping was significantly higher than pre-test score at .05 level of significance. 2) the post-test score of learning achievement unit in Thai language and Local language learning unit of grade 5 students using 5-steps learning management with mind mapping was not higher than 70 percent at .05 level 3) the post-communication and collaboration skills score of communication and collaboration skills of grade 5 students was significantly higher than pre-communication and collaboration skills score at .05 level.
